Controls
The sidebar is organized into six sections, in the order they appear in the app. Each page below covers one section: a short explanation of what each control does, followed by examples showing it actually changing the animation — because seeing three or four values side by side tells you more than a description ever could.
Every example on these pages starts from the same baseline sequence and changes exactly one thing (or one closely related pair of things) at a time, so what's different in each image is only the thing being explained.
- Tile — Sequence, the Checkerboard modifier, Tile size
- Timing — Duration, Frame count, Easing
- Playback — Mode (Loop / Ping-pong), Start and End delay
- Time shift — Pattern, Stagger, and each pattern's own settings
- Grid — Shape and grid size
- Colors — Foreground, Background, gradients, Invert
Not every one of Blitter's ~25 Sequence presets, 9 Time-shift patterns, or 10+ Grid shapes gets its own dedicated example here — that would bury the handful of ideas that actually matter under a wall of near-duplicates. Instead, each control gets a few representative examples that make the mechanism click, plus a quick tour of the family of options so you know what else is available. The best way to see all of them is still the picker menus in the app itself, which show a live animated thumbnail for every option.
